"Kicky Things began as a simple passion for crocheting back in 2015."
What started as a creative escape soon turned into something much bigger. With a deep love for handmade crafts, I began experimenting with yarn, textures, and designs, bringing each piece to life with care and intention. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to showcase my work through numerous exhibition stalls, connecting with people who value the beauty of handcrafted creations. Every product reflects not just skill, but patience, passion, and a personal touch. Today, Kickythings is more than just a crochet brand, it’s a journey of creativity, growth, and heartfelt craftsmanship. And just like in the beginning, every piece is made with the same love and dedication.

The craft
Every stitch is a conscious choice.
A single amigurumi takes between six and fourteen hours to make. We won't shorten that. We won't outsource it. The little imperfections, the slightly uneven ear, the one stitch that leans, are the fingerprints of a person, not a machine.

Sourcing
Yarns chosen from small mills in Portugal, Turkey, and the west of Ireland.

Designing
Patterns sketched by hand and prototyped until the proportions feel right.

Crafting
Six to fourteen hours of crochet per piece, done in one sitting where possible.

Hand-stitched eyes, embroidered details, wrapped in tissue and sent with a note.
